If you manage multiple websites across different markets—such as Global, EU, Germany, Denmark, or the Netherlands—you may want to get a unified view of performance for specific keywords across all of them.
For example, if you're tracking total Clicks for the same keyword across these websites, you can achieve this in Databox by combining metrics from each Google Search Console account into one.
1. Create the Custom Metrics for each website
Navigate to Metric Builder and select Google Search Console as the Data Source.
Set Metric to Clicks.
Add a filter for: Query contains [keyword]. For example, set the keyword to "product name" or "brand keyword".
Repeat this step for each of your connected properties (e.g., Global site, Germany site, etc.).
2. Use Data Calculation to combine all Custom Metrics
Once you have your filtered Click metrics, go to Data Manager > Data Calculations and create a new metric to sum them together.
Example calculation:
[Clicks_Global] + [Clicks_EU] + [Clicks_DE] + [Clicks_DK] + [Clicks_NL]
This will give you a single metric showing total clicks across all websites for that keyword.
You can also use Data Calculations to:
Compare clicks for a keyword vs. total clicks across all queries
Calculate share of branded vs. non-branded clicks per region
