In Databox, you can set up goals, track your progress towards them, and automatically calculate attainment towards the goal. You can do this using our Goals feature (read more about it here).
First, create a goal from the Databoard
You can create a goal by selecting the metric you want to create a goal for on the Databoard.
Open the right-hand datablock editor and set "Compare with" to Goal.
NOTE: If you are using a dimensional metric, select a dimension first.
"SET" will appear right next to the Goal comparison setting. Click on it to start setting up your goal.
The Goal setup window will open where you can set your goal settings. You can configure your goal for different granularities such as day week, month, quarter, and year.
Open Advanced setup of you have different goal values for each day, week, month, quarter, or year.
Important: If you want to create a goal for a specific dimension like campaign, ad, channel.. you need to create a goal using the dimensional metric and select the specific dimension.
Use the goal on your Databoard
There are a number of ways to visualize goals on your databoards and use them to compare your performance against them.
We recommend using the Gauge, Radial, or Progress Bar visualizations.
If you want to compare performance over time, we recommend using the Line or Bar visualizations and enabling the Goal line.
