How to Set Up Sales Rep Performance Alerts in Databox (CRM)

If you're using Pipedrive and want to notify your sales reps when they’re at risk of missing a goal, Databox allows you to do this by combining Goals and Alerts.

This way, your team stays informed in real time—whether they’re on track, ahead, or falling behind.

For a full walkthrough, watch our training video: Set & Track Goals | Databox 101 | Chapter 4.1

Create a Goal for each sales rep & set up an Alert

  1. Go to the Goals page in Databox.

  2. Create a new goal and set the frequency of the goal and set the goal value (e.g. monthly or quarterly goal for a key Metric like Deals Closed, Revenue, Activities Completed).

  3. Select the Metric you want to set a goal for.

  4. Assign the goal to the rep if the rep is invited as a user to your Databox account.

  5. You can leave the option checked for "Notify owner only about the progress" if you've set the goal owner to the rep and want them to get the notification. If you also want the manager to get the notification, you can uncheck this and add additional recipients by clicking on the gear icon.

Alternatively, you can separately set up Alerts

  1. Go to the Alerts page in Databox.

  2. Create a new Alert and selec the Metric you want to create an alert for.

  3. Configure the conditions such as:

    1. “Is less than X”

    2. “Will probably miss” (based on trend detection)

  4. Set the recipients of the alert and save it.

This setup allows your team to react quickly and take action before the end of the reporting period.
