How to Filter Facebook Ads Data by Attribution Window in Databox

If you're reporting on performance with a specific Facebook Ads attribution window (like 7-day click), you may notice that default metrics in Databox don't offer an attribution filter. However, you can build a Custom Metric to track the exact attribution model you need.

This is especially helpful for aligning your reports with Facebook Ads Manager settings.

How to build a Custom Metric with attribution filtering

  1. Open the Metric Builder Page and select Facebook Ads as the Data Source.

  2. Set the Metric to Action Attribution Windows.

  3. Choose the Action Type (e.g., Purchase)

  4. Select your desired Attribution Window from the available options:

    • 1-day View Attributions

    • 7-day View Attributions

    • 28-day View Attributions

    • 1-day Click Attributions

    • 7-day Click Attributions

    • 28-day Click Attributions



Once saved, this Custom Metric can be visualized on a Databoard - giving you a more precise view of performance based on your attribution model.
