In Databox , you can create reports using QuickBooks data and visualize data from the Profit and Loss or the Balance Sheet reports. You can also apply filters to, for example, only filter data for specific classes or use other filters.
How to set up a custom QuickBooks metric
Open Metric Builder (Metrics > Custom Metrics in the top navigation).
Select QuickBooks as the data source.
Set the Accounting Method either to Cash or Accrual.
You can choose from a number of different Metrics and Dimensions.
You can also apply filters for Customer, Class, Product/Service, Department, and Vendor.
Visualize your data on a Databoard
Once you've created your metrics, you can visualize them on a Databoard. To do this, you can create a new blank databoard and select your metrics by clicking on the "+" icon on empty spaces of the databoard.
