How can I visualize/create metrics from Google Sheets?

In Databox you can visualize your Google Spreadsheet data and report on trends over time, build forecasts, and use it to calculate data across sources.

1. Get started by formatting your Google Spreadsheet

In order to visualize data from Google Sheets, you first need to properly format your Spreadsheet. Here's a short video explaining this:

2. Connect your Spreadsheet to Databox

In Databox, navigate to the Integrations Page, search for Google Sheets, and connect the spreadsheet you want to report on.

3. Create Custom Metrics using Metric Builder

Next, navigate to Metric Builder and choose the Spreadsheet you want to create metrics from.

Select what columns or rows you want to report on as the Value, the Date, and optionally the Dimension (attribute that the data is broken down by). If you only want to report on current data and not data over time, you can leave the Date field empty.

4. Visualize your data

Navigate to the Databoards page and create a new blank Databoard. Hover over the Databoard and click on "+" to add new metrics. Search for the custom metrics you created from your spreadsheet and select them to add them to the Databoard.
