How to Create Flow and Campaign Attributed Revenue Metrics from Klaviyo

When tracking performance in Klaviyo, it’s often helpful to break down Placed Order Revenue by its source—whether it’s coming from Flows, Campaigns, or overall Attributed activity. This allows you to understand where revenue is being generated and which initiatives are driving the most value.

With Databox, you can create Custom Metrics using the Klaviyo data source to isolate revenue based on attribution type.

How to build Custom Metrics using Filters

Here’s how to create separate metrics for Attributed, Flow, and Campaign revenue using filters in the Metric Builder:

1. Attributed Revenue (to track total revenue that’s attributed to Klaviyo:

  • Metric: Placed Order (Shopify)

  • Measurement: Value

  • Filter by: Attributed Channel

This will show the total amount of revenue attributed to Klaviyo's efforts (both Campaigns and Flows combined).

2. Flow Attributed Revenue to focus only on revenue from automated Flows:

  • Metric: Placed Order Value

  • Measurement: Value

  • Filter by: Flow Channel

This isolates purchases made through your automated email flows.

3. Campaign Attributed Revenue to measure revenue generated through direct Campaign sends:

  • Metric: Placed Order Value

  • Filter by: Campaign Channel

This gives insight into how your one-time campaigns are contributing to revenue.

By setting up these metrics, you can easily visualize and compare revenue performance across Klaviyo's different communication types and better evaluate which tactics are working.
