If you're managing multiple projects in Jira and want to track unresolved issues across each one, setting up a visual breakdown in Databox can help you stay on top of what still needs attention.
One user needed to display the number of unresolved, unassigned issues per project on their dashboard—and this is easy to do using the Jira Metric Builder.
How to set up a custom metric for unresolved issues per project
Open the Metric Builder page and select Jira as the Data Source.
Set the Metric to Number of Issues.
Set the Date field to Updated.
Set the Dimension to Project so you can break the issue count down by project name.
Add a Filter for Resolution:
Search: Unresolved
Value: Unresolved
Once your custom metric is created, add it to your Databoard using a bar chart, table, or any other visualization to easily track unresolved issues by project.
