How to Report on Conversion Value by Conversion Action from Google Ads

If you want to track conversion values for specific conversion actions in Google Ads, you can easily set this up in Databox using Metric Builder.

This allows you to isolate and report on the revenue or value generated by individual actions—like form submissions, purchases, or demo bookings—rather than viewing the combined total.

How to build the metric in Metric Builder

  1. Open Metric Builder and select Google Ads as your Data Source.

  2. Set the Resource to Conversion Action.

  3. Set the Metric to All Conv. Value.

  4. Add a Filter:

    • Conversion Action equals the specific action you want to track (e.g., "Purchase Completed")

If you want to track the total conversion value across all actions, you can leave out the filter.

This setup allows for more granular reporting on the performance and ROI of specific actions within your Google Ads campaigns.
