If you're managing a sales or marketing funnel, it’s important to also track conversion rates between KPIs/stages. In Databox, you can visualize the whole journey from website visitors to closed-won deal. You can also combine data across platforms to measure overall performance and conversion rates.
Identify what KPIs/Metrics you want to measure in a funnel
Identify the key funnel stages. For example:
Website visitors (e.g., from Google Analytics)
Leads and MQLs (e.g., from your CRM)
Meetings booked and calls made (e.g., from your CRM)
Deals created and closed-won (e.g., from your CRM)
If you track the same data across different platforms such as Sessions across two separate GA4 accounts, you can use Data Calculations to combine both metrics into one before using it in the funnel. Navigate to the Data Calculations page to create Calculated Metrics.
Add your Metrics to the Funnel Chart
Navigate to your Databoard and hover over an empty block to add a new metric. Select the first metric you want to measure at the top of your funnel (like Sessions from GA4).
On the right side, change the Visualization Type to Funnel.
Go to the Datablock Editor and add additional metrics in the order you want to report on them in the funnel.
Scroll to the bottom of the Datablock Editor and set the Step conversion setting.
Step by step will calculate the conversion rate from one metric to the next.
From first value will calculate the conversion rate between the first and the last metric used.
You can choose to either use the Funnel (vertical layout) or the Pipeline (horizontal layout) visualizations.
This setup lets you identify what stages of your funnel require more attention to optimize conversion rates.
